Description
The Idea workout is a workshop which aims to introduce people to prototyping process and the part it plays in generating, challenging and exploring ideas. The 1hr session is designed to get participants engaged through ‘doing’. A series of drawing exercises come thick and fast to show how quickly ideas can be recorded and put down onto paper. The ideas are challenged and pushed to see where they may go, before putting them into a context and testing them again. Participants take away an understanding of how prototyping can be used to test and communicate their ideas, and a few tools that will help them to do this.
The workshop was initially run during the launch event of Ithra’s Prototyping Week 2017 and has since been delivered in events including Saudi Design Week, Dubai Design Week and Tanween, Ithra Creativity Season. It utilizes the Ithra’s, Idea Labs Design collection to provide examples and drawing models providing a great introduction to the type of content and spirit of experience participants will receive from Ithra.
