Media Activity

Throughout the Winter Enrichment Programs we work with key media professionals across digital, print and broadcast facilitating media opportunities and exclusive access to global thought leaders and state of the art KAUST facilities. Through coverage by global broadcasters such as MBC we are able to reach audiences of up to 300 million.

  • Selection of top tier journalists invited to cover the program from key national and international publishers and broadcasters
  • On campus press conference held for journalists during the program
  • Targeted press releases sent to relevant news and trade media pre and post event

Influential Online and Offline Presence

Partner with us to reach new audiences. We invite a selection of digital, print and television journalists to attend WEP resulting in extensive positive media exposure for our messages and sponsors. This is complimented by promotion across KAUST’s internal and external owned channels. These include harnessing the latest digital trends like Instagram stories and live streaming on Facebook and YouTube. In addition to high profile real estate on key areas of our website, internal newsletters and the University’s monthly glossy magazine - The Beacon – distributed by direct mail to influencers around the world.

Social Media Stats

Thanks to our compelling social media campaigns and strong online presence on the most used platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram), we have created a network that goes far beyond the boundaries of KAUST.  In January 2018, WEP digital activity across all channels achieved a potential reach of 2,200,000 people.
