Description
Solving the Maximum Independent Set (MIS) problem with a hardware-efficient implementation of quantum approximate optimization algorithm (QAOA).
The workshop will be composed of two sessions: Session 1: introduction to neutral atom quantum computing (superposition, entanglement Bloch sphere Rydberg blockade, Hamiltonian). Quantum state transformation using laser pulses on Pulser. Session 2: Solving the Maximum Independent Set (MIS) problem with a hardware-efficient implementation of quantum approximate optimization algorithm (QAOA).
