Description
Photography is a Bridge Between Art and Mathematics
The starting point of this exhibition is to translate the language and the insights of mathematics into photographic images and vice versa.
Mathematics provides a language to describe the patterns and structures upon which our life is constructed. Moreover, image composition also follows some laws which have a mathematical basis. Hence, mathematics can lay the basis of photography. Art, however, can go further; it expresses the true human. In this sense, photography is a bridge between art and mathematics.
