This program will include: Guests welcomed to central area. Introductory talk by Jacqueline Piper: “Why closing the loop is important.” Main talk by Mohammad Al Shawaf: Waste and recycling at KAUST, and the new markets KAUST’s recycled materials go to. Guests move on to a tour of the facility and education center to enable our community members to see behind the scenes and see first-hand what happens to their waste once it is picked up from their homes.
