Description
This lecture expounds on the Implicit Learning phenomenon sweeping the world through CLIL (Content Language and Integrated Learning) whereby all subjects are taught in English at school. Following from results obtained by a study at Cambridge, the speaker will put forward the hypothesis that implicitness sheds much higher results in language learning than all traditional methodologies based on explicit learning and will shape the future. Almost predicting the end of the English Language profession in years to come, this lecture also delves into some of the theoretical underpinnings of this position. All are welcome!Marcos Bracchitta
