LOCATION: Spine Auditorium Between Bldgs. 2 & 3, Bldg 3, Rooms 5205, 5208, 5209, 5211, 5216, 5218, 5220, 5222 KAUST and UC Berkeley co-branded 10-day fast track entrepreneurship program. To attend this program you must apply online at: http://entrepreneurship.kaust.edu.sa Fast track introduction to entrepreneurial development to identify business opportunities (real problems that require real solutions), validate product ideas, engage with potential customers, build a scalable business model, manage team dynamics and pitch to judges/potential investors. Participants include KAUST Masters and PhD students as well as researchers, staff and faculty members, external industry partners and others. The result is not a publication, a deck of slides or even a product. Instead, it is the experience of being an entrepreneur - learning from the marketplace by talking to customers, partners, and competitors; working as a team to overcome failures and embrace successes; encountering the chaos and uncertainty of creating a startup – under the guidance of a world-class UC Berkeley teaching team and with presentations by Silicon Valley and international entrepreneurs.Andre Marquis
