Description
This event is the Theory Lecture that is open for everyone to attend. Those who wish to go on and attend the Workshops MUST attend this theory lecture. Each participant will be introduced to the world of remote control flying: from choosing components effectively, to how PID settings are used to make the flight stable, so the students will have a good understanding of how everything works together. The session will also discuss all the safety measures and precautions that make the hobby safe. In the end, each student will leave with his or her own small tri-copter (please see fee below). The event will be subdivided in 3 sessions. The first one (open to everyone) will be a theory class where we talk in general about rc/flying (1 hour long), in the second session we will build the tri-copter (2 hours long) and finally in the third session, we will fly them. There is a fee for the workshops: 570 SAR per person must be paid in advance.Luca Passone
Luca Passone is a Ph.D. student in Supercomputer simulation and 3D visualisation of near field seismic wave propagation for complex media at KAUST.
